2.3.3. Units' Battle Values

Throw 1d10, modified according to the situation, against the Battle Value.
To succeed, the modified score must be less than or equal to the Battle Value.

2.3.3.1. Infantry
2.3.3.1.1. Fire = Drill + Experience.
2.3.3.1.1.1. Possible range from 0 to 6.
2.3.3.1.1.2. Result of success - Kill. Defensive fire - Hit.

2.3.3.1.2. Charge = Experience + Morale.
2.3.3.1.2.1. Possible range from 0 to 5.
2.3.3.1.2.2. Result of success - Kill. Against Cavalry - Hit.

2.3.3.1.3. Melee = Type + Experience.
2.3.3.1.3.1. Possible range from 1 to 6.
2.3.3.1.3.2. Result of success - Hit.

2.3.3.1.4. Bravery = Drill + Experience + Morale.
2.3.3.1.4.1. Possible range from 0 to 8.
2.3.3.1.4.2. Result of success - passing the Bravery test.

2.3.3.1.5. Amount of shots which Unit may shoot in skirmish phase, if there are available skirmishers = Type.
2.3.3.1.5.1. Possible range from 1 to 3.
2.3.3.1.5.2. Every throw of "1" - Hit.

2.3.3.1.6. Maximum number of available skirmishers for skirmish shots = Drill + Experience.
2.3.3.1.6.1. Possible range from 0 to 6.
2.3.3.1.6.2. Every missing "life", Drum and Flag decreases the number of available skirmishers by 1.


2.3.3.2. Cavalry
2.3.3.2.1. Defensive Fire = Drill.
2.3.3.2.1.1. Possible range from 0 to 3.
2.3.3.2.1.2. Result of success - Hit.

2.3.3.2.2. Charge = Type-2 + Drill + HS.
2.3.3.2.2.1. Possible range from 0 to 7.
2.3.3.2.2.2. Result of success - Kill. Against the front of standing infantry in line, column or square - Hit.

2.3.3.2.3. Melee = 2-Type + Experience + Morale + HS.
2.3.3.2.3.1. Possible range from 0 to 9.
2.3.3.2.3.2. Result of success - Hit.

2.3.3.2.4. Bravery = Experience + Morale + HS.
2.3.3.2.4.1. Possible range from 1 to 8.
2.3.3.2.4.2. Result of success - passing the Bravery test.

2.3.3.2.5. Screen = 4-Type + Experience + Moral.
2.3.3.2.5.1. Possible range from 1 to 8.
2.3.3.2.5.2. Result of success - discovering/prevention/Hit.


2.3.3.3. Artillery
2.3.3.3.1. Action points = Drill ( -1 if no Drummer).
2.3.3.3.1.1. Possible range from 1 to 3.
2.3.3.3.1.2. Total of Action Points is the number of actions (limber/move/unlimber) the Battery may perform in the Movement Phase.

2.3.3.3.2. Bravery = Drill + Experience + Morale.
2.3.3.3.2.1. Possible range from 1 to 8.
2.3.3.3.2.2. Result of success - passing the Bravery test.
